We've gotten to spend some time at home lately and it's been heavenly. I love our house so much. It's my favorite place that I've ever lived and that's truly saying something... I've been feeling like it's getting to be crunch time, baby wise. I apparently have built up all of my nesting energy in the time that I've spent away and it all came out at once Wednesday night. It's funny how preparing for a new baby takes over your mind in the last months of pregnancy.
Anyways, here are my five favorites from this week!
These were a gift from my Mom forever ago and I put them in the pantry and forgot about them. After putting Gemma in bed the other night I filled them with chocolate milk and surprised her the next day. She. Flipped. Out. They're little enough that your kid won't go berserk from a sugar over dose! Hallelujah! Add sprinkles to whatever you put in there and your kid will love you forever!
My doctor recommended a support band/belt a few weeks ago and this is the one I settled on. It's WAY overpriced but I guess you get what you pay for. It's done wonders for me. The pain I had before is completely gone as long as I wear this regularly. It's super soft and it can also be used as a binder postpartum which is a great feature for c-section moms. It doesn't look great under clothes but it's worth it I swear! You'd think by the sound of this I'm having twins and I'm not. Trust me, I AM NOT. It pays to keep in shape, y'all! When you don't it's much more unpleasant to carry a human in your abdomen. Thanks, surprise baby.
I bought this for Brandon. It's actually part of a set. The other one says "Mrs. Always Right" Not gonna be claiming that title anytime soon!
4. Our New Rocking Chair
We scored this gem on craigslist for $30! I was really drawn to the black for some reason. I can't believe we were able to find such a good deal! I'm loving how it looks in the house the way it is but we've talked about painting it. I'll be pulling out my sewing machine to make a seat cushion for it as soon as I find the right material!
How adorable is this!? I can never understand how the people that make these things can part with them for such great prices but hey, I won't complain too loudly. This is so sweet, I'd love pictures of "baby no name" in this!
Still holding out on the name thing by the way! I'm doing good but my friends and family are not! Everyone is dying to know this chicks name! So far he's been able to keep it a secret. Only two and half more months to go!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
XOXO
