Since I shared my last house tour we have changed everything around and we're loving it. We had to make room for a Christmas Tree of course! Last year we fit an 8 foot tree into our little house and it was pure magic! I can't wait to put one up AFTER Thanksgiving! Every time we change things around it's like we discover our possessions in a new way all over again. This time our layout left us with quite a bit of floor space because we're really utilizing the lofts... So naturally we had to go hunting for some new house things!
Brandon and I love finding old things to use in a new way, usually the older or uglier they are the better... You can find us in resale shops pretty regularly because that's where all the good stuff is! This weekend we found THE most amazing chairs. Brandon has wanted folding chairs for our house for two years and he never did convince me because we couldn't find any that fit our style. We found these two Leg-O-Matic folding chairs for $2.50 each! They're in great condition and still have so much life left in them. The plan was always to have folding chairs that we'd hang on the wall to free up floor space when we needed it. Then we could take them down and have two extra seats for guests. It worked out perfectly! I am so proud of them!
Also, I saw the sweetest little shelf somewhere on Pinterest full of baby shoes! I immediately started looking for a shelf for all of Rue's shoes, which I love more than my own. I found a ton that I liked but none that were even close to what I wanted to spend. As we were leaving the house I remembered these coke crates that we keep on the porch (and more often than not use as a side table for coffee) and decided to kidnap one, hang it on the wall and fill it with teeny tiny shoes! It couldn't have worked out better!
Similar Coke Crate // Name Bunting // Cow Art
Rue is OBSESSED with Brandon's beard. Everytime he picks her up she grabs it and holds on for dear life and giggles and giggles! It is the sweetest thing! I can't believe she is well on her way to being six months old. It goes by way faster the second time!
Happy Wednesday everyone!
XOXO
