3 Month Favorites

My Last Baby Is Three Months Old.
Crying, lots of crying....

Anyways... I wanna share my favorites for this stage because honestly, I've been a much better mom the second time around and I found a lot of really freaking cool baby stuff! Rue isn't sitting on her own or rolling over yet! Thank heavens!! So we're loving her Bumbo Seat and tray which really isn't a new baby item but seriously those people are geniuses. We have the mint colored one which I really love. Gemma usually steals it because her tiny tush still fits in it! Ha! Rue is learning how to grasp and ALREADY teething! I load up her little tray with teething toys and she practices reaching for them. I also sit her on the counter next to me while I'm doing the dishes or cooking.

I'm such a different mom this time around. I want her close to me all the time. Rue wants to nurse for seventy eight hours!? Sure babe. She'll only sleep in the wrap or sling!? Not a problem! Total pushover... Sometimes I can feel the minutes of this sweet babyhood ticking away and I want to cry and sometimes I do because those postpartum hormones (still) are no freaking joke. Anyways, my Happy Baby Wrap is still a favorite. We recently got a Ring Sling from Wildbird and I'm loving how quick it is, we're both still learning how to use it and still breaking it in but the color is to die for and it's so well made... I used it for the first time on a trip to the Children's Museum and I struggled to get it just right but when I did Holy Cow, totally crazy about it. Also Brandon wore Rue it the other day so I could take a power nap and theres nothing in the world cuter than that. For real. Anddddddd... I put Gemma in it. I got to cuddle her for an entire five minutes and I wanted to cry like a baby the whole time. She never lets me hold her.

As you all know we live in a Tiny House. For the first 3 months Rue slept in a Moses Basket. Not only was it an excellent space saver but they're just adorable. I thought it would really be a splurge but I got one on Amazon for $22 and the stand on Craigslist for $15! Both of those have been moved up to Gemma's loft (she's obsessed with being a Momma and putting her babies to sleep.) and we bought a mini crib for baby girl. It's AMAZING. Why did we have a full size crib with Gemma? I'm finding it completely adequate size wise and it will continue to be for a long time. I chose this one because it's solid pine and was shockingly affordable. We went with the thicker mattress because the mattress pad it comes with is a bit of a joke. It was easy to put together and it's super sturdy. It's perfect for our space and I'm really really happy with it. Rue stretches out and rolls around and stares at her mobile and it's pure heaven for both of us. Also, it's foldable. I don't see us folding it anytime soon but it's nice to have the option.

These sleepers are Rue's baby uniform lately... almost always paired with a Miss Magg Pies bow because we have a million of them and love them all and want more...

It is just crazy how fast this all goes. I enjoy being a mom so much, like way more than I ever dreamed I would. These are the best days, I'm living the dream, y'all...

XOXO
Miranda
