My 1st Trimester Must Haves

I am craving salty things in a bad bad way. So much so that I completely ruined two different meals on two different nights! Leaving me with grouchy kids and salty soup. Not cool. I jokingly told Brandon that this baby is going to come out strangely resembling a Frito if I didn't start eating better! Salty things apparently make nausea worse. (yippee!) So I'm doing my best to avoid them. These granola bars are a little salty and sweet and have 10g of protein! Yay for a non-Frito baby!

I mentioned these before but they're definitely worth mentioning again. I used a different prenatal with Gemma and they made me miserable and left a horrible after taste in my mouth. These taste great and have no funky after taste!

I bought this for myself about a month ago and I love it. It's so soft and stretchy. Gemma uses it as a blanket regularly. It does shed quite a bit at first so wash it before you wear it! I'm constantly cold no matter the temperature and this keeps me warm!

Something truly sad occurred last week. I made myself a cup of coffee and the smell completely turned my stomach. I left it sitting there on the counter looking all sad as I made a bee line for the bathroom. So awful! I love coffee so much. Or I did. I also love hot tea though. I'm not a big fan of ginger or peppermint even though I know they do great things for nausea. This tea is awesome and cheap. It's like a lemon spice cake! (is that even a thing!?)

I've been using this lotion for years. I will be really sad if it's ever discontinued. It smells so good! It's not oily and it has added Vitamins E & B3 perfect for a growing belly. It's also shimmery!

Unofficial #6 is My Husband. Everyone keeps saying that your spouse becomes less responsive and helpful after your first pregnancy because it's not a big deal anymore. Totally not true in our case. I really would have spent this week in bed if it wasn't for him. I'm a lucky girl, y'all!

I have my first appointment this week and I expect all good news and to hear that this baby is looking a lot like a jelly bean. I'm looking forward to hearing his/her heartbeat for the first time!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Jude and Jaden were so happy to see Gemma and to spend a whole week at Nan & Pop's house! They were spoiled by all and we went to sleep with bellies full of pumpkin pie every night. (Especially Jude who could eat an entire pie himself!) The weekend slipped away before we could put our Christmas Tree up so we'll be doing it next weekend!

XOXO
Miranda
P.S. 24 Days Until Christmas!
