Our baby girl is already two months old! She's such a joy. Gemma loves singing to her and occasionally burying her in stuffed animals. She's starting to smile and roll over! Brandon is already convincing her that her first word will be Papa! Here are her chunky little thighs covered in band-aids from her shots!
Age: 2 Months!
Weight: 12 Pounds 2 Oz!
Clothes Size: Her newborn onesie's still fit but she's definitely more comfortable in 3 month things...
Eating: All the time! were still exclusively breastfeeding. She's not taking a bottle and will only accept a pacifier when she's desperate... Which makes me tired just thinking about it!
Sleeping: She wakes up once, sometimes twice during the night. We've got a pretty good routine going. She nurses well even when she's half asleep!
Likes: She loves when we make complete idiot faces and sounds to make her smile! I swear there is no point in life that you're more willing to make a fool of yourself than when you're trying to make your baby smile! She also loves to be held so I wear her in my Happy Wrap a lot... Which I think we both love.
Dislikes: Bottles... Pacifiers... Laying flat on her back...
I'm enjoying Rue so much. Things are so different this time. I told my sister that I'm much more laid back and thoughtful now. I'm so much more intentional in my decisions as a mom now and maybe it's because I'm older but I really think it's because I see their importance in Gemma.
