Monday Randoms

I had SUCH a good weekend. It's rare that I spend multiple days in the company of others but I did this weekend! We spent all of Friday outside loving the sunshine and Brandon killed a ginormous snake in the shed. Gemma said "good thing Papa shooted that snake. Now he can't come and snake us!" Good thing...

Saturday we had an impromptu girls day. Gemma spent the morning with Brandon on the tractor and I caught a movie with my two favorite girls! Bridget Jones' Baby is HILARIOUS and if you're going to see it you better take your best friends. You'll be the loudest group in the theater like we were. Also, try not to take your nursing baby or she will make the most embarrassing slurpy noises at the quietest, most serious points in the movie!

After the movie we made a caffeine stop and then went to Lush Cosmetics. OMG. Just omg... I was so overwhelmed. As a girl who is considered low maintenance in the beauty department I was so overwhelmed. I bought Gemma the Twilight Bath Bomb. She totally flipped over it and smelled like a little dream afterwards. I bought myself the Butter Bath Bomb but seriously, who has time for a bath!? I bought it in good faith I guess! Either way it smells amazing and I ca't wait to use it! I want to go back now that I'm over the initial shock of the sheer amount of products they offer. What a cool concept... all natural beauty products. EVEN Makeup! But to be perfectly honest I don't even have a very good handle on plain old run of the mill beauty products so... you know... go check it out for yourself!

Saturday afternoon was for grocery shopping unfortunately! But then we got an invitation to dinner with the funniest Uncle on the planet. Gemma loves him so much! and Grammy too!

Sunday Morning we dressed our girls and we ran out the door and barely made it to church on time... Gulping down coffee on the way which is really the only way I go anywhere these days. It's so nice to be at church and experience and participate in amazing worship. It feels like taking a deep breathe... I am so abundantly blessed and I don't mind spending my Sunday being reminded of that and giving thanks for it... Just look at my babies!

And so far we're spending this cloudy Monday like this... Or at least Rue is! I'm knee deep in all of the laundry I ignored all weekend!

XOXO
Miranda
