I'm not really sure why but I've never had coffee ice cream before this week... omg. No one told me!? Since I'm currently up to four cups of coffee a day (don't judge me...) I will welcome any other coffee flavored things... For some reason, I just can't get enough... P.S. It will probably taste better if you are snuggled in bed watching your favorite show and scrolling through Pinterest... ;)
This Alice + Ames dress is majorly on my wishlist for Gemma. You've probably seen our speckled Boppy cover which I love. This dress is a similar pattern... Gemma asks to wear a twirly dress everyday lately... It's the ultimate little girl thing!
So... our 6th pacifier was the winner! I'm kind of a cheap-o so when everyone kept recommending the Natursutten Pacifiers I was totally against it. Turns out it is the only one Rue will take... and keep in her mouth... and is actually soothed by. Hallelujah! I took a shower at normal speed last night (as opposed to lightning speed) because of this baby! I will gladly be paying the $10 per paci when they start disappearing! As far as I can tell she likes it because the shield touches both cheeks and her nose which makes it pretty similar to nursing...
Basically every time I see artwork in anyway involving cows I want it... I had cows of my own as a kid and I always miss them so so so incredibly much. This piece is by Kellie Montana. (@kelliemontana) Check her out! I am loving all of her animal pieces... I've been so selective about what goes on our walls. So much so that this is really the first thing. Maybe it's a good start for a gallery wall!?
This is a thrift shop find! I cannot believe my luck y'all... Crewcuts top for $3. GapKids Ombre Tulle Skirt for $4! Both in perfect condition... Total Score! The skirt is two sizes too big for Gemma so I'm debating taking it up or just using a safety pin so that she can wear it longer... Hopefully soon her clothes will start lasting a bit longer. She's gone through such a growth spurt lately. Almost completely skipping 2T clothes and going straight into some 3T things from 18/24 months... My baby is gone as she so often reminds me... If I wasn't so tired I'd sit down and have a good cry about it... Oh the irony.
I'm not sure how Mom's with multiple kids get anything done for the simple fact that it is incredible to watch your kids become older siblings. Gemma loves Rue so much and I can't stop snapping pictures of all the sweet things she does or just staring like a weirdo when they fall asleep together... That is my most favorite thing this week and probably for a really long time...
Hope you have the best weekend!
XOXO
Miranda
P.S. A little update on my stroller! The replacement storage basket came and was a perfect fit. I'm so pleased with it and still really impressed by a double stroller that isn't miserable to use. Today was our first time using it at the mall and it was a breeze. I highly recommend Contours Options if you're looking for a double stroller! Here's baby girl parked in the yard snoozing in it while Gemma played...
