We have spent the last few days with Brandon's parents and we've all really enjoyed it! These kids love their grandparents more than anyone else in the world and it's been really helpful for me because I just don't have enough hands (or patience) lately... The girls have spent hours upon hours dragging each other around the pool and getting rosy cheeks from the sun. It's really really sweet to see them play together, instead of yell at each other... Rue is eating great! Not sleeping so great! I'm guessing the change in environment has a bit of an effect on that but it's all part of it...
Our Summer is swiftly coming to a close and we all get a little melancholy at this point, especially Jude. Someone told me after my first summer with the kids that it would get easier over the years and they were so wrong... We spend each time together building on what we've built summers before and it seems like at the end of each break there's a defining end to our time and when they come back they are different and older. It's so hard for me to see our relationships in chunks of separate memories over the years instead of one continuous one...
So if you don't hear from me much I'll be spending the next two weeks taking pictures constantly and eavesdropping on hilarious kids conversations and hopefully baking lots of cookies!
XOXO
Miranda
P.S. Please no one tell Jude that I shared this picture of him but how cute is he in his Pop's shirt!? Worlds Biggest Goofball award goes to...
