After what seems like the longest pregnancy in the history of the world... (most relatable sentence ever...) this is my very last baby update! At least while she's in utero! I am BEYOND ready to meet this kid and even more ready than that to learn her name!
My c section is scheduled and by some miracle we actually made it allllllllll the way there. Right now I'm somewhere between 39-40 weeks pregnant which has been just about as fun as everyone said it would be! Here's my last update! Next time you hear from me I'll be introducing you to the 6th Phillips! (No, I'm not going to change the name of the blog!)
Symptoms: I've been having actual painful contractions for about four weeks, usually through the night and early morning, INSANE heartburn, little bit of swelling in my hands, basically all of the usual things! (Other than the labor that lasted a hundred years...)
Weight Gain: 28 pounds! I'm happy with it, would have been happier with 15 lol seeing as I was already overweight :/ oh well! It'll all be milk soon... TMI??
Appetite: for Frosted Flakes?! Outta control... For everything else... Meh.
Looking Forward To: Other than a new baby, I'm really looking forward to feeling a bit normal again. I'm hoping for a pretty good c section recovery. I'm really ready to just get that part started. My recovery with Gemma was so easy. I'm expecting it to be a little tougher this time but so ready to get started healing! Of course, I know that in a few months when all of the sweet baby milestones are whizzing by it will hit me hard that I'm done having babies... Even though I really thought I already was!
Thank you all so incredibly much for all of the advice and well wishes... I never imagined that this blog would become what it has and I'm so grateful that it's shown me, through all of you, such love and acceptance! I will always be grateful for the ones that take the time to read!
