Second Trimester Must Haves

This pregnancy is moving at the speed of light, I swear. I feel like I told Brandon five minutes ago and now I'm halfway done! I'm excited that Gemma will have a little sister and
I'm really reassured by how positive she has been when we talk about it.
Last night she asked me what is in my tummy and I said "your baby sister!" she replied "awwwwwwwwwwwwww. Mom does she have a blanket!? "

This trimester really really is the easiest, just like I remember. I can drink COFFEE again!! Hallelujah! I really feel like myself again... with umm... baggage. In the beginning baby girl was so low and now she's started moving up quite a bit so I can actually wear my normal jeans without any discomfort. So nice to not deal with the awful stretchy over the belly jeans. (Which I will love again in just a few weeks.)
I'm almost always thirsty. Like Breastfeeding level thirsty. I'm sure that means I'm dehydrated but I really don't see how! I usually buy 1 case of disposable water bottles each week. That's lasting me about 2 1/2-3 days right now. So the easier and less wasteful solution is an awesome water bottle. Love this color too!

Because I already have a c-section scar I'm having some tinges of pain as my belly grows and this stuff helps so much! I also like to think that it's preparing my skin for another incision in such a tender area. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny! I also got the Nipple Cream as a gift and loved all of the reviews. Can't wait to use it!

This goes hand in hand with the water bottle. Constantly feeling dehydrated means really dry lips which I HATE. I prefer Burt's Bees because it isn't oily, it's actually moisturizing.

They say during pregnancy, if it's a girl they steal your beauty. I don't know if that is true but I definitely have more acne now than I did before. I really need to wash my face twice a day but I don't always get around to it. Most days I don't wear makeup so I use these wipes in the morning to fake wash my face... It seems to be working well if I can also (simultaneously) stay hydrated, and avoid all of the salt Target Popcorn and chocolate that I'm craving... Yeah right.

On the days that I do wear makeup this covers up the I slept three hours least night because I dreamt I was trapped inside a cardboard box face. Why the dreams!? I'll never know. This concealer is cheap and it goes along way.

Earlier in this pregnancy I really needed a belly support and our regular pillows worked fine for that but now I just want to sleep wrapped around a marshmallow. This usually means I end up sleeping with all four of the pillows on our bed but I think a body pillow would be the better solution...

7. Tums
The Heartburn is ridiculous! I've always had acid reflux, I've always taken medicine for it but that is nothing compared to this! They say that means baby will have lots of hair! That was true with Gemma but I'd happily have a little bald baby for some relief!

XOXO
Miranda
