Not included on this list is Gemma's new found sass. My god, y'all. That kid is just like me sometimes with her shifty side eyes and selective hearing. I asked her about 64 times to stack her books neatly, which she is completely capable of doing and all she could say was "I gotta pee, Mom." My diaper wearing, toilet hating, not potty trained kid told me she had to pee... Just to get out of cleaning her books up. I took her to the potty and when she didn't go she was borderline devastated that she had to continue with the books... Life lessons are hard when you're two years old. They're even harder when you're the mom of a two year old.
We're hoping to do lots of relaxing this weekend after a busy week of full-time single parenting. Brandon was away for work all week and surprised me by coming home early last night! The little rodeo clown that lives with us has started to behave again. She takes him so much more seriously than me, no clue why!?
Here are my favorite things/finds from this week!
1. Apples for Fall
They're everywhere! How cute are these tights and this clip! I would love those tights for Gemma with a black cotton dress and some cute flats or even moccs. You know I'm a sucker for cute moccs... I'm also not opposed to eating all of the apple pie... just because it's fall.
2. These Pony Tail Holders
I know what you're thinking. But these are AWESOME. Especially if you have long, heavy, thick hair. I got one in my Birchbox a few months ago and I've really tested it out. They're beyond overpriced but if you can manage to keep up with them I swear 90% of your stress will magically disappear. Okay, I'm being dramatic but they're really that great.

Our little lady is a thumb sucker. She's also a sucker for fuzzy blankets. When she sucks her thumb she grabs her blanket and rubs her nose with the soft side of it... Right now we have a gorgeous faux fur blanket from Madly Wish and Gemma is obsessed with it. Not necessarily a good thing... When she doesn't have it she gets desperate and tears fuzz off of anything she can find and shoves it up her nose. Gross.
I love that this blanket has the normal low pile minky... which is hard to shove up one's nose. Score. Also the flamingos have my whole heart. Even if summer is over...
4. This Potty Chart
Like all mom's in the potty training trenches, I'm beginning to think that Gemma will be wearing diapers at her wedding. She likes the bunnies on this chart and she likes the promise of a new baby when she gets 5 stickers! Yes, I'm bribing her. I absolutely am. We're way past pride. To be fair she is doing great with potty training today! We actually went somewhere with no accidents! Victory of a lifetime.
5. Chatbooks
These are just awesome. If you have an instagram account then you should be ordering these. We all love our photos. They become a chronicle of our lives. Why not print them out and lay them on the coffee table for everyone to enjoy!? Especially when you can get your first one free with the code below! (Thanks, Chatbooks!)

Hope your weekend is tremendous and full of fall goodness despite the achingly summer-like weather.
XOXO
