Looking Ahead: Gemma's 3rd Birthday

I can't believe Gemma's almost 3. I know every mom says that and now I understand why... You spend the first nine months of their lives catering to every little need and then slowly but surely (if you have one like mine) they show you just how many ways they don't need you so much anymore.

There are MILLIONS of birthday themes for little girls and if you even look at Pinterest you will get overwhelmed. But I did anyways! Here are some of my favorite party themes for little ladies!

1. Vintage Bake Shop
This one is just vague enough that it would be super easy to pull together! I love outdoor parties and this stand would be so simple for Brandon to build if we wanted something like that... But I'm more inclined to simplicity these days! Must be something to do with the baby belly I'm growing!

2. Garden Party
This is something I've considered each year for Gemma but for both birthdays I've gotten distracted and done something different! Like I said... too many to choose from!

3. Under The Sea

This beautiful table was done by The Chickabug Blog! I'm pretty sure I would throw myself a party with this theme...

4. Ballet Party
Tulle is cheap! Tutu's are abundant in our household! This one is a contender for birthday #3!

5. Woodland Fairy Party
I really like that you can keep this one simple or embellish like crazy... I also like how eccentric it can be!

Here are some throwback photos from Gemma's birthday parties! Last year we had a circus themed party and it turned out beautiful! The wind was insane though! Keeping that in mind for this year!

Her 1st birthday party was Honey Bee themed. Brandon went all out building the cupcake stand and we served Hot Dogs! We bought her a little crown instead of a birthday hat and it made for some pretty sweet pictures!

She was so little! Excuse me while I cry...

XOXO
