Brandon bought me this for Christmas and I love it way more than I thought I would. I read two books in a week which is a pretty big deal since you know I have a toddler and all. It's just easy and convenient. It links with my Goodreads account so all of the books I love are so accessible. It's light and small and I can make the text as large as I want for my lazy eyeballs. Also. it NEVER dies. Okay, I'm sure it dies at some point but I'm on book #4 and it's still going strong!
Running isn't working for me anymore and it hasn't for a while. I am constantly breathless. Which is aggravating. I was in far from perfect shape going into this pregnancy so I know that has a lot to do with it but the breathlessness is killing me. I can walk to the mailbox with Gemma and on the way back I'm huffing and puffing like I'm 9 months pregnant. It's horrid. So I've been doing some simple at home pregnancy work outs and they're great but this yoga video is really wonderful. It actually helps me relax when Gemma crushes crayons into our WHITE floors or tells me she's going to jump off the top of her ladder.
I downloaded this on my kindle and it's been pretty fun asking B what names he likes and doesn't like. He's very definitive. I'll mention a name and he's like NO, I know a (insert name here) and she/he's awful! It's funny because I know everyone does that. We've decided to choose 5 girl names together and when the baby is born (if it is a girl) Brandon will choose her name from those 5 and surprise me! I'm excited for that but I really do hope it's a boy!
I know this a funny thing to have on the list and usually I hate these kinds of three in one things for kids but this stuff smells so good! It may be just because I'm pregnant though! It also lathers really well and doesn't leave Gemma's skin feeling super dry. Lately she's starting getting some little bumps on the backs of her arms... Just like me... It's a bummer but this stuff has actually helped. This and probably the fact that I basically bathe her in lotion every time I give her a bath!
This was another Christmas git from Brandon. It's such a cool idea and a really sweet sentiment. It's also very simple which is definitely my taste. I don't really wear any jewelry regularly other than my wedding ring but this is an everyday necklace. It's light and a little sparkly. I'm really enjoying it. B said he only wishes you could pick your own word instead of love or whatever. I'm really glad you can't though because (knowing my dear husband) I'd have ended up with a string of profane words around my neck. Although I'm sure they'd have made a pretty pattern!
