Our Thanksgiving Advent Calendar

I really wanted to do this for Gemma this year. She's still pretty little but it's important to Brandon and I that she understand the concept of gratitude. We have so much to be thankful for and we want her to realize that as early as possible. I wanted this to be simple and easy to understand. I also didn't want to be elbow deep in hot glue and ribbon while making it. This option seemed to be the easiest...

We used some twine that we'd bought a few weeks back, some small craft paper treat bags and plain old clothes pins that Gemma and I decorated with wash tape.

I had a hard time coming up with the list of things and activities that would go in the bags so I've listed them below in case any of you want to use them! I added some little treats in the bags along with the slips of paper, things like candy (candy corn and reese's pieces!), stickers, some of the activity pages from Gift Of Curiosity's free Thanksgiving Printable Pack, small toys, etc...
