My (Shameless) Netflix Picks

I have a real life love affair with Netflix. I mean it is so dang convenient. Shame on me for admitting it but here we go... I usually watch an episode or two when I'm folding laundry or after I've put Gemma in bed. I can't really sit down in front of the TV at any given time and be present when something starts... unless of course I decide when it starts so... enter Netflix.

But as much as I love Netflix, I don't love it as much as I love BBC...  and Masterpiece on PBS. Yep, I'm that girl. So... these are my go to shows when I have a free moment to myself! Not included is The Walking Dead because it terrifies me so I don't watch it alone. Biggest wimp ever!? Some things never change...

This show is just so awesome. It follows the ups and downs of a group of friends, midwives and Nuns in East London in the late 50's and early 60's! It's definitely a girl show... no doubt about it. But it's a good one!

All my life my Grandfather has read Louis L'amour books... Like every time he sits down in his chair there are two or three on the table beside him and one in his lap. So I'm guessing my love of westerns comes from him. This show is excellent and really well written. Some of the shows we all watch can be pretty predictable but this one is not that.

This is another girly one. It may be tad bit predictable but the costumes!? Basically eye candy... Phryne Fisher is witty and independent and you know how we love witty and independent women at our house!? (My poor husband!)

If you've never seen Top Gear I'm pretty sad for you. Even if you have no interest in cars, this show is  pure gold. Jeremy Clarkson is like the coolest guy. Not to mention he has the best (and funniest!) comebacks in the world.

I'll just let these do the talking. It's amazing. If you have a daughter or a sister, It's just amazing.

That's all guys, happy netflixing!

XOXO
Miranda
